Achilles is Tomas' older brother, and has been playing the violin since the age of 9. While in high school he played with various New Jersey regional orchestras as well as the state orchestra. His first musical collaboration with Tomas was on Gimp's Smiles for Macavity when he played violin on the original version of "Supernothing". He moved to Prague in the Czech Republic in 1997 and has been there ever since. He plays with his university orchestra and also meets up with the European Medical Students Orchestra every year (theriscgroup.com even hosted the website for their 2003 meetup at www.theriscgroup.com/emso/).
