Chris Paszik first became known as the bassist for popular NJ ska band One Cool Guy, who were around in the late 90s. After they broke-up Chris, along with several other ex-OCG members, leant his musical talents to BOTAR for A Call to Arms, on which he played upright bass.

After BOTAR he was in the band Buicks to the Moon for whom he sang, played guitar, and wrote music.

He then resurfaced again when Josh Ansley decided to leave Streetlight and they needed a new bassist. His first appearance was at The Stone Pony on the 19th September 2004, where Streetlight played "Dear Sergio:" for the first time.
