Josh Ansley joined The Youth Ahead on bass in 1996, but left the same year to pursue acting and modeling. He then joined Catch 22 and performed on their demo Rules of the Game and debut album Keasbey Nights, after which he left to continue his edcucation. In 2001 he provided gang vocals for BOTAR's A Call to Arms before joining Streetlight Manifesto in 2002. He performed on Streetlight's demo and debut album, Everything Goes Numb, and then toured with them, before leaving in late 2005 to again pursue an acting career. After moving he joined the band Hurt, and currently performs with them.
