Streetlight have updated their site again, though not much we don’t already know as they just mention the tour with RBF. However they did have this to say about the chance of hearing new songs on the tour:
although we’re saving the bulk of our new material for our post-record-release headlining tours, we will be slipping new streetlight tunes in here and there.
So something for the American fans to look forward to soonish. Unfortunately though this would seem to indicate their next CD is unlikely to be released until at least after the summer tour.
According to a Punknews interview with Aaron Barrett, Reel Big Fish and Streetlight Manifesto will be touring together this summer.

another update, another temporary site!
so we’re getting ready to come out of hiding, at least for a little while. we have a headlining show in pennsylvania on may 5th, at the crocodile rock in allentown. day after that is bamboozle, after which we high tail it to denver to begin a west coast tour with the aquabats. then we go underground for another month or so, but then, well then the really good stuff begins… stay tuned for our huge summer tour plans (any day now), info on our upcoming second album and other juicy tidbits. later.

In case anyone hasn’t been keeping an eye on the Catch 22 website, they have recently updated it to match their new album, Permanent Revolution, which they have just released cover art for (click thumbnail for larger version). In addition to the new website they have set it up so you can now buy advanced tickets from the site, with the added bonus of anyone buying 4 or more tickets at once getting to attend their soundcheck. There is also a video at the bottom of the new site where Kevin explains more.
The Aquabats have announced that they will be touring in early May/June with Streetlight Manifesto. Also on the tour will be Whole Wheat Bread, No Trigger, Single Frame and possibly The Aggrolites. There are no dates yet and no tour name, but for now The Aquabats are calling it the This Better Work or We Are Dead Summer Tour 2006
